FEMA's mission is to help people before, during, and after disasters. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the Federal Emergency Management Agency employs more than 20,000 people nationwide, aiming to prepare and respond to disasters. 

 Feed Your Neighborhood Corp. (FYN) is a non-profit organization, founded by the neighborhood and its community partners. Given first-hand experience with lack of educational accessibility, chronic homelessness, and food insecurity, FYN was established on the Eastside of Detroit in 2017 to combat these three main issues. 

 The mission of the Energy Department is to ensure America’s security and prosperity by addressing its energy, environmental and nuclear challenges through transformative science and technology solutions. 

 EcoWorks - Founded in 1981, EcoWorks is a Detroit-based non-profit that creates just, equitable, and inclusive solutions to climate change and other community sustainability challenges. 

 Samaritan Center—Samaritan Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) wellness-centered community that meets the quality of life needs in Detroit’s eastside neighborhoods. It partners with tenants and other community organizations to offer vital services that spur urban growth and revitalization. 

 Michigan State Police EMHSD - The Michigan State Police Emergency Management & Homeland Security Division aims to prevent, mitigate, and recover from disasters and threats to our homeland. 

 Destined for Greatness aims to empower and motivate at-risk young ladies ages 11 to 21 through education and support. Their focus includes but is not limited to hygiene, self-esteem, education, and job readiness. 

 The U.S. Small Business Administration is a federal agency that helps small businesses start and grow by providing loans and disaster loans for homes and businesses. The SBA also provides counseling and education for starting and growing businesses. 

GLREA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that represents individuals, organizations and businesses that support the adoption and expansion of clean renewable energy in Michigan like solar and wind.  GLREA’s Mission is to 'Promote the Use of Renewable Energy in Michigan by Empowering our Members and the Public through Advocacy, Education and Strategic Collaboration.' 

The Detroit Black Community Food Sovereignty Network (DBCFSN) was established to ensure that Detroit's African American population plays a significant role in the local food movement. Through our initiatives, we strive to create sustainable, equitable food systems and advocate for policies that address the unique challenges faced by Black communities in Detroit and beyond.

The Climate Justice Nurse Project aims to address the intersection of climate change and health disparities, particularly in underserved communities. With the escalating climate crisis, vulnerable populations are facing increased health risks, including respiratory illnesses, heat-related conditions, and food insecurity.

Winship Community Improvement Association provides essential resources for its community and seniors. By connecting with other organizations, we hope to create a network of resources that benefits our community. It's our goal to help keep our seniors healthy and informed.

 The Catalyst Communities Initiative is a comprehensive program to provide education, training, planning, and technical resources to local governments as they work toward their sustainability goals.
